Three more trainers from DP Training who have a diverse range of skills and experience

Leanne Smith -Trainer Gold Coast Leanne’s career started in 1982 when she took a position as an assistant nurse and I loved it. She loved everything about working with the elderly and decided that nursing was the career for her. In 1983 she trained to be an Enrolled Nurse at Gunnedah District Hospital. Leanne moved to the Gold Coast in 1985 and worked at the Gold Coast Hospital. Since moving to QLD she has completed a Diploma of Nursing, Advanced Diploma in Critical Care & and Advanced Diploma in Mental Health Nursing, Bachelor of Social Science & a Graduate Certificate in Mental Health Practice, and several other certificate courses including the Cert IV in Training & Assessment. She has worked as a Student Nurse Facilitator, a First Aid Trainer with Australian Red Cross. She has two mottos – 1st “Work hard and prosper”, for obvious reasons and 2nd to work only in areas I really enjoy because “Life is too short to make it a practice run”.

Raylee Gormley- First Aid Trainer Raylee has a passion to deliver training in a stress-free friendly environment. She has worked in the community services sector for close to 20 years, starting out as a support worker where she supported children, adults and the aged with varying disabilities and mental health disorders. Raylee has specialised in training for the past 10 years, designing and delivering her own training packages in the areas of First Aid, CPR, Asthma, Anaphylaxis, Medication Administration, Manual Handling, Gastrostomy Feeding and Work Health & Safety. Students enjoy Raylee's First Aid course because of her experience, relaxed style and she teaches specifically to suit an AIN environment.

Deanne Whittaker –Trainer Toowoomba Over a thirty year career working across all levels of government and pre-dominantly at ‘grass-roots’ within community services and health sector Deanne has gained a broad and in-depth career encompassing local community agencies, disability, child, youth and family services. A qualified Counsellor, Child Focused Practitioner, Nationally Accredited Mediator and Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, Deanne has a broad range of industry relevant professional qualifications and engaged actively as an advanced practitioner and consultant with community service and health organisations. Deanne is committed to ‘paying forward’ the knowledge and skills she has acquired from her industry mentors and experiences to others seeking quality skill development and training within the community services and health sector.
