Meet the trainer - Raylee Gormley

Meet our DPT Trainer: Raylee! She is DPT's most experienced trainer and has been with the company for six years. Learn more.

Raylee Gormley is DPT's most long-term trainer of 6 years. She began with the company as a first aid trainer then moved into Aged care and Disability training. 

Raylee Gormley was a Disability Support Worker for 8 years. She became the manager of five fully-supported group homes supporting a variety of people with disabilities. She then specialised in behaviour management in the area of mental health.  

Raylee has a passion to deliver training in a stress-free friendly environment. She has worked in the community services sector for close to 20 years, starting out as a support worker where she supported children, adults and the aged with varying disabilities and mental health disorders. Raylee has specialised in training for the past 14 years, designing and delivering her own training packages in the areas of First Aid, CPR, Asthma, Anaphylaxis, Medication Administration, Manual Handling, Gastrostomy Feeding and Work Health & Safety. 

Her qualifications include: 

Diplomas: Community Services, Disabilities, Business, Training & Assessment systems. 

Cert IV in Alcohol & other drugs, and the current TAE with LLN, Occupational Health & Safety, Disabilities, Mental Health. 

Cert 3:  Individual support (Ageing, Home & Community Care, Disabilities), HSA, Administration. 

Raylee has delivered many courses for DPT over the years including the Certificate 3 Individual support and the Cert 3 in Disabilities. Other skill sets she trains in are Palliative care, medication administration, dementia and manual handling,
