Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management reflects the role of workers who are middle managers or managers across a range of community sector organisations. These people work independently and report to executive management, directors or boards of management. The Advanced Diploma is also a pathway to tertiary education.
At this level, workers have responsibility for planning and monitoring service delivery, recruitment and performance management of other paid or unpaid workers, managing risk and contributing to continuous improvement within the scope of their specific role. This may include management of specific programs or projects, or broader management of a community-based organisation, early childhood education service, not-for-profit organisation or community centre.
Upon successful completion of Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management, graduates will have the required skills and knowledge to meet the requirements for the following positions:

The total course duration for CHC62015 Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management is 52 weeks. This includes:
- Compulsory orientation and course induction on the first Monday of every month.
- 20 hours per week x 52 weeks (inclusive of compulsory holiday breaks)

- Applicants must have completed year 12 schooling (or equivalent).
- Applicants should be a minimum of 17 years of age at the time of application and must be 18 years of age at the commencement of the course.
- Students must also be able to obtain several security clearance checks.
We accept the following English tests and levels for entry into VET courses.

*On 26 July 2023 the TOEFL internet-based test (TOEFL iBT) stopped offering English language tests for Australian visa purposes. A score for a TOEFL iBT test taken on or after 26 July 2023 will no longer satisfy the English language requirement for Student visa purposes. Only TOEFL iBT scores from a test taken on or before 25 July 2023 are accepted for Student visa purposes.
**From 12 February 2024, only results from the paper-based Cambridge C1 Advanced test (previously known as Cambridge English: Advanced CAE) will be accepted for Australian visa and migration purposes. Test scores for both C1 Advanced paper-based and computer-based tests, taken before 12 February 2024, within the specified validity period are still accepted.
Prospective students must complete in FULL an International Student Application and Statement of Purpose, attaching ALL requisite supporting documentation.
CHC62015 Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management is made up of 13 units of competency, (8 core units and 5 elective units). DP Training has selected these elective units to meet the current industry needs.
Students must meet theory and practical requirements of each unit of competency within the course duration of 52 weeks.
