This nationally recognised qualification equips learners with the skills and knowledge required for general roles in the amenity horticulture industry.Â
Learners develop a broad range of practical and theoretical knowledge, working under supervision while applying discretion and judgement in tasks such as operating equipment, coordinating resources, and responding to workplace challenges.
Training and assessment focuses on key areas including soil improvement, plant nutrition, machinery operation, and nursery plant maintenance, preparing learners to take responsibility for their work in a variety of settings.

To receive an award for this qualification Students are required to complete all units listed above as competent within a period of 12 months.
